FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Here are some of the most commonly asked questions I receive from clients. If you don't see your question below, please email firstname.lastname@example.org - Thank You!
1. What kind of photos do you take?
I photograph children as well as families. I consider the toddler age (9 months to 36 months) as my specialty. This is the time of their lives where they are discovering the world and everything is fun and games. I understand that they won't sit still and so should you. Expect fun, energetic, spontaneous and "real" photos full of life and character. I also photograph expecting mom's and couples ...be ready gents, this is a time to bring out your inner model.=) Do expect more candids or lifestyle photos in your final photo delivery with few rare posed photos.
2. What should you wear for your session?
I am a fan of color, layers, or textures but ultimately I want you to dress your child or yourselves in what ever makes you comfortable. Express your personality!
3. Where do we photograph?
I do not have a photography studio, so all of my sessions are held on location and mainly outdoors. I suggest choosing a location that has meaningful significance to you and your family or your partner. I have photographed at local parks, an ice cream store, the Ferry Building, Japanese tea gardens, at a carnival, at the ballpark and even inside a music store! When we speak during our consult, we can brainstorm together!
4. What time of the day should we schedule our shoot?
Since my sessions are held outdoors, I'd recommend scheduling your shoot with me in the morning between 8:30am-11:30am or in the twilight hours after 5:00pm (or after 3:30 during the Winter).
5. Will you use our photos for promotional use and advertising?
Yes, I reserve the right to post any proofs or pictures on my website and/or Facebook page. If you do not want me to use your photos, please just let me know. It's not a problem!
6. How long will it take to receive my photos?
I will have proofs (1-3) ready for your review within 72 hours of your shoot. This will give you an idea of how I will edit the rest of your photos. You can expect your final product roughly 2-3 weeks later.
7. Can I make modifications to my photo package?
I will do my best to work with you on customizing your package to suit your needs. Should you only want half the time for a photo session, just cut the cost in half and the amount of photos delivered in half. Easy as that!
8. Do you photograph newborns?
Vandenbroeck Photography no longer photographs newborn lifestyle sessions.
